John is the Chairman of Alta Capital Partners. He brings leadership and deep expertise across institutional investment markets, governance and accounting.

John founded Perennial Value in 2000 and has over thirty years’ experience in the investment management industry. He is one of Australia’s most respected value investors and has evolved Perennial Value over time to encompass a range of well-established active management capabilities. In October 2014, John was inducted into the Australian Funds Management Hall of Fame.

In 2016, John co-founded Perennial Partners, which joins with highly talented investment professionals to own and operate boutique investment management firms. Perennial Partners has some $8bn in funds under management across seven boutique investment firms.

John is a director of several companies including Perennial Partners Limited, AgriWebb Pty Ltd and Danehill Group Pty Ltd.

John is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Australia & New Zealand.
